I have to be honest and say that the idea for this jazz album/mixtape came to me after seeing an Instagram post where someone was asked this question. In that moment, I remembered all the times I had to answer it myself, and I felt like creating something out of that experience.
I tried to put together the best possible selection of samples and achieve a cohesive sound, just as I’ve tried to do with all my jazz albums so far. I hope you enjoy it and that, even if just for a little while, you can find a moment of peace while listening to it.
At the end of the day, I think music can also be a way to find a little peace of mind amidst everything happening around us. The world is fucking crazy, and nothing guarantees that tomorrow, I or any of us will still be alive. So if anyone ever asks you that question, don’t be afraid to answer it. Now more than ever, I believe we shouldn’t be afraid to live and feel as much as we possibly can while we still have the chance.
I don’t really trust tomorrow, let alone next week. So for now, enjoy the music, take care of yourselves, and have a good day.
