Loryn Nounay is a French actress and singer born in Challans in 1999.
Raised in this small town, she attended Notre-Dame school and Saint-Joseph college, where she took introductory theater classes with Gaëlle Monnier. After studying biology, she developed a passion for music, beginning to share covers and original compositions on Instagram from her bedroom with her guitar—a decision that paid off when a producer discovered her talent.
At age 20, she was cast as Isabelle in the musical tale Les Souliers Rouges, written by Marc Lavoine and composed by Fabrice Aboulker, scheduled for the Folies Bergère in 2020. The show was halted after a month due to the lockdown, but the experience enhanced her skills in singing and dance, particularly under the guidance of choreographer Marie-Agnès Gillot. She then pursued an acting career, appearing in Carrément Craignos (2021), Skam France (2022), and Titanic at the Théâtre de la Renaissance (2022). In 2023, she starred in Farang by Xavier Gens alongside Olivier Gourmet and featured in series like Ici Tout Commence (as Emi Tanaka) and Je te promets.
In 2025, she launched her solo music career with her debut single, "New York," released on June 27, marking a new chapter following her theatrical and screen work. Versatile and multifaceted, she continues to excel in theater, film, and music, establishing herself as a well-rounded artist.
