Artist BiographyAvailable in:

PA Sports (real name Parham Vakili) is a German rapper born in Essen with Iranian roots.
His rap career began at the age of 12 under the pseudonym PA Lyricist when he took part in various freestyle battles. After this time, he released several tapes together with the rap crew he founded, "Das Kollektiv", which also caught Eko Fresh's attention. This led to a collaboration with Eko Fresh's in-house producer Kingsize and his first solo songs. In 2006, PA Sports formed the rap duo SAW (black on white) together with KC Rebell. They released a tape together and also released an album. After another collaboration with Manuellsen, PA Sports finally wanted to concentrate on his solo career in 2011 and released his debut solo album Streben nach Glück. From 2012 onwards, PA Sports released one solo album each year, namely Vom Glück zurück, Machtwechsel in 2013, and most recently H.A.Z.E. in 2014.
In February 2014, he founded his own label called Life is Pain and signed Kianush as his first artist, with whom he released the collabo album Desperadoz in the same year. In 2015, PA Sports celebrated his biggest success to date with his fifth solo album Eiskalter Engel, which entered the German album charts at number 6. In 2016, he expanded his label Life is Pain to include two artists and signed the singer Moe Phoenix and the Berlin rapper Mosh36.
Parallel to the promo phase of his seventh solo album Verloren im Paradies, a feud with Sun Diego aka SpongeBOZZ flared up, which began with disses on the single "HS.HC" with Kollegah. In response to these disputes, Sun Diego released the diss track "Payback #forsundiego - Napoleon Komplex", to which PA Sports responded with the two-parter "Nicht wie wir/Sunny". The song was received rather negatively in the scene due to its deeply personal disses against Sun Diego and his family. In January 2018, PA Sports released the sequel to their collabo album Desperadoz, Desperadoz II, together with label partner Kianush. In June 2018, PA Sports founded the Dreamseller label, which was to function as a second label alongside Life is Pain. In the same year, he signed Z and 40CRWNS, the latter of whom is now known as Fourty. That same year, Z left the label and PA Sports signed Fourty to its main label Life is Pain.
PA Sports announced in July 2018 that he would change his name to P.A. to separate himself from his former self and released the track "GUILTY 400" almost simultaneously, in which he lashes out against his former collabo partner and friend KC Rebell over 16 minutes. In contrast to the Sun Diego dis track, the song against KC Rebell was received much more positively by the scene. In October of the same year, P.A. signed the previously unknown newcomer Jamule to Life is Pain, who immediately achieved chart success. In June 2019, P.A. revised his name change and returned to his original pseudonym as PA Sports. At the same time, he announced the separation of Mosh36 from Life is Pain and the release of his eighth solo album Keine Tränen, which he released in October of the same year.
2020 also saw changes in the Life is Pain line-up: Moe Phoenix left the label with the release of his album Moeses, while PA Sports signed rapper Hamzo 500 and Rua, the first female rapper to be signed to the label. In the same year, PA Sports and Kianush released the collabo album Crossover, which was a concept album with samples from the rock and metal genres. The album took them to number 2 in the album charts, which was the highest chart position of their careers to date. At the end of 2020, PA Sports and Manuellsen publicly clashed, which degenerated into a half-hour PA Sports vs Manuellsen video message in which the former threatened the latter with the release of a disruptive track that would "destroy Manuellsen's career". The dispute was ultimately put to rest by PA Sports.
For PA Sports, 2021 was characterized by the release of his ninth solo album Streben nach Glück and the third part of the Desperadoz series with Kianush. With the first album, he achieved his highest chart entry as a solo artist to date at number 2 in the album charts.
