Cruel Force is an underground German heavy metal band known for their aggressive blend of black, speed, and thrash metal. Formed in 2008 in Rheinzabern, the band is celebrated for capturing the raw, "old-school" energy of early 80s extreme metal.
The band was active from 2008 to 2012 before entering a decade-long hiatus. They reunited in 2022 with a renewed focus on a more traditional heavy/speed metal sound while maintaining their thrash roots. Their lyrics often explore themes of Satanism, blasphemy, and the "cult of heavy metal".
