Cover Drive was a four-member band from Barbados, formed in 2010, consisting of Amanda Reifer (lead vocals), T-Ray Armstrong (drummer/backing vocals), Barry "Bar-Man" Hill (keyboardist/guitarist), and Jamar Harding (bassist). The group gained recognition in the UK with a musical style blending reggae, R&B, dancehall, soca, hip-hop, pop, and reggae fusion.

They broke through internationally after signing with Polydor Records in 2011, having caught attention with YouTube cover songs. Their debut single, "Lick Ya Down," released in August 2011, peaked at No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 3 on the UK R&B Singles Chart. Their biggest hit, "Twilight," released in January 2012, reached No. 1 in the UK and Ireland. Their debut album, Bajan Style, released in May 2012, hit No. 14 in the UK and was described as a "Barbadian beach party." Their third single, "Sparks," came out in April 2012.

The band collaborated with Far East Movement on the 2012 single "Turn Up the Love" and opened for Rihanna’s Loud tour in 2011, boosting their visibility. They were promoted by the Barbados Tourism Authority as cultural ambassadors for their country.

In 2013, they released the EP Liming in Limbo with the single "Lovesick Riddim." Their second and final album, Fall Forward, was released in April 2017. The band disbanded in 2018, and Amanda Reifer pursued a solo career, notably collaborating with Kendrick Lamar on "Die Hard" in 2022, earning two Grammy nominations.

The name "Cover Drive" comes from a cricket term, Barbados’ national sport, chosen by T-Ray’s father, a cricket enthusiast.
