Aaliyah Dana Haughton (født 16. januar 1979 i Brooklyn i New York i USA (oppvokst i Detroit i Michigan), død 25. august 2001 på Bahamas) var en amerikansk R&B-sangerinne og dessuten skuespiller. Hun omkom i en flyulykke.

Aaliyahs debutalbum var Age ain't nothing but a number (1994) og ble produsert av R. Kelly. De to giftet seg i august samme år etter å ha forfalsket Aaliyas fødselsattest. Ekteskapet ble dog annullert innen utgangen av året.

På oppfølgeren One in a Million (1996) samarbeidet Aaliyah blant annet med Timbaland. Timbaland produserte sangen «If Your Girl Only Knew», som ble hans første ordentlige store hit. Samarbeidet mellom Aaliyah og Timbaland fortsatte frem til hennes død.
