Track Description
Available in:
"The Golden Age" is a song Woodkid's album from his eponymous album. It was released as the fourth single and the first after the album's release. A fourth video was released too.

"Yoann Lemoine AKA Woodkid has described his final visual release for his album The Golden Age as "somehow about my love/hate relationships with men." And certainly the epic 11 minute promo – also featuring music by modern German composer Max Richter – is open to interpretation. Seemingly going full circle, Yoann implies previous promos were the imagination of the child within; a boy who lives in the swampy outback. Yoann goes further as the body cast in the intro is of long-term protegé Thomas Azier who has toured with Woodkid. Having introduced the imaginator behind the videos for Run Boy Run and Iron, we get to see the everyday ups and downs of growing up in a small remote community. Of course, everything is portrayed beautifully: the photography is by Kasper Tuxen." (Luke Tierney, Promonews)
