"Space Age Love Song" is a 1982 single by the British band A Flock of Seagulls. It was their fourth single and became one of their most notable tracks, reaching the top 30 in the UK and the US in June 1982 and February 1983, respectively.

The song was recorded in 1981 at Battery Studios in London and produced by Mike Howlett.
It features a blend of new wave and synth-pop genres.
The band members who wrote the song are Mike Score, Paul Reynolds, Frank Maudsley, and Ali Score.

Lead guitarist Paul Reynolds suggested the title "Space Age Love Song" because he thought it sounded like a space age love song. Lead singer Mike Score explained that the lyrics describe the feeling of instant intimacy when meeting someone and making eye contact.

The music video for "Space Age Love Song" was directed by Tony van den Ende and filmed at Danceteria in New York City. It features the band performing on a stage made to look like a rocket launching pad, along with some simple computer visual effects.
