The song peaked at number two in Germany, and reached top ten positions in Denmark, Switzerland, Poland and Austria. It also charted in Belgium.
"Following WIZ's promo for their debut Better Than Love comes this extremely rare outing in videos by Dawn Shadforth for Hurts' second single Wonderful Life. Echoing early 80s synth duos and clearly a priority for Sony, the band get the 'Bryan Ferry by Anthony Price' treatment for this heavily styled by-the-pool scenario.
