theAudioDB scraper tag issue
I have a large collection of music videos mostly from youtube.
The videos were all in mkv format which does not support tags/meta data.
I converted the collecion to MP4 added tags for song title, song artist, album artist, album name and an album picture.
Hours and hours spent.
In Settings-Media-Videos-use Video tags I select use Video TAGS.

This results in only 13 of 1700 videos being added to the library.

Unselect Tags and most of the 1700 are added to Library.

Question why is theAudioDB scraper not reading those tags?
The same concept works for my MP3 collection just fine.
The reason for the tags is that alot of the videos have a ? in the title ie Shania Twain - Whose bed etc?.mp4
will not get added to the library as windows does not like the ? or the ? in file name.

What am I missing??

The scraper doesn't read metadata tags as far as I know.

I do exactly the same as you but simply named the file according to the YouTube rips as

Artist - Track.mkv
It works perfectly and I have 98% scraped into my Kodi library that way.

Thank, I am using artist - title.mp4 and get almost all of the songs into the library.

With mp3s however the scraper gets all from the tag data. and the file name does not even matter.

Just wondering why it does not work with music videos also.
