Missing Deluxe / Extended Albums

Hey,

so I was using the API to develop a small hobby-project of mine and realized that there are no entries for albums that were released as "Deluxe" with additional tracks from the artist. I don't know if it is only for a few select artists, however the issue stems from the import of a musicbrainz release-group instead of singular imports of the corresponding album / general release.

Is it possible to somehow get the deluxe versions added as well? or does that entail too much effort for what value it brings?
