David Forbes is a Scottish record producer and DJ from Glasgow, working primarily in the trance and techno genres. Over a career spanning more than fifteen years, his productions have been played and supported by leading DJs including Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Carl Cox, Sasha and Above & Beyond, and he has released more than 100 tracks, including three UK top 40 singles.

Forbes has performed at major clubs and festivals internationally, including Ministry of Sound in both the UK and Singapore, Homelands, and the Reading and Leeds Festival, where he played the main stage. He warmed up for Tiësto in front of 10,000 people at Glasgow's Exhibition Centre and appeared at Germany's Nature One open-air festival alongside Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Deadmau5. He has toured Australia on nine occasions since 2002, including headlining four dates for the Gatecrasher brand and headlining the Utopia event at the Sydney Superdome for 20,000 people, and has also toured Brazil, playing dates in São Paulo. His track "Answers" made him the only Scottish DJ to feature on Tiësto's first DVD compilation.

His productions have achieved two consecutive number-one placings on the Trackitdown trance chart, a number one on its techno chart, and a number three placing on the Beatport trance chart. He has released material through labels including Subliminal Records, Armada Music, Vandit Records, Anjunabeats, Five AM, Silicon Recordings and Noom Records, among others. In addition to his production and touring work, Forbes runs the Re:locate club nights in Glasgow, which have featured producers such as Jochen Miller, Ummet Ozcan and Woody van Eyden.
