Goldie Loc, born Keiwan Deshawn Spillman on January 16, 1980, in Long Beach, California, is a rapper best known as a member of the hip hop trio Tha Eastsidaz alongside Snoop Dogg and Tray Deee. The group traces its origins to 1997, when Snoop Dogg left Death Row Records and formed "The Eastsiders" with Crooked I, Techniec, and Lil' C-Style, releasing the Battlecat-produced single "Feels So Good" on the soundtrack to the 1998 film Ride. After a brief and largely unproductive stint with Virgin Records, the group reformed in 1999 with a new lineup of Goldie Loc, Tray Deee, and Snoop Dogg, adopting the name Tha Eastsidaz and signing to Snoop's Doggystyle Records through TVT.

Tha Eastsidaz released their platinum-certified debut, Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz, in 2000, the same year they won New Artist of the Year (Group) at the Source Awards and starred in a self-titled direct-to-video film that was certified double platinum. They also appeared on "Lay Low" from Snoop Dogg's Tha Last Meal and on the soundtrack to Bones, and featured in the films Baby Boy (2001), The Wash (2001), and Crime Partners (2003). Their second album, Duces 'n Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way, followed in 2001 and was certified gold.

By late 2003, tensions emerged between Tray Deee and Snoop Dogg over allegations of financial mismanagement of the group's earnings, with Tray Deee later claiming that he and Goldie Loc were each owed more than $1 million. In 2004, Goldie Loc addressed a mixtape track recorded over Snoop's "Doggy Dogg World" instrumental, describing it as constructive criticism rather than a personal attack and stating he remained on close terms with Snoop. Goldie Loc launched a solo career during this period, releasing Still Eastsidin' on October 5, 2004, and Loc'd Out through 33rd Street Records on March 15, 2005; he was also part of The Warzone alongside MC Eiht and Kam. In 2005, Goldie Loc reunited with Snoop Dogg to release a new Eastsidaz album with the IV Life Family, though Tray Deee remained estranged, later stating in 2009 that he would not work with Goldie Loc again over the earlier financial dispute.

Tray Deee was released from prison in April 2014, and he and Goldie Loc reunited as Tha Eastsidaz for live performances that April in Fresno and Inglewood, California, though a full studio reunion was considered unlikely at the time. The duo announced new material in February 2022, and on October 25, 2024, they released the seven-track EP Still Easty on Death Row Records.
