Fabian Mazur is a Copenhagen-based electronic music producer who has been active since 2010, releasing original tracks and remixes that expanded his reach from the Danish club scene to an international audience. His musical style combines electronic and dance elements with influences from hip-hop and R&B.
Mazur comes from a musical family. His father, Klavs Hovman, is a bassist established in the Danish jazz scene, while his mother, Marilyn Mazur, is a percussionist who has toured with musicians including Miles Davis and Wayne Shorter.
Mazur's work has received support from artists such as Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and Afrojack. His releases "Right Now" and "Arena" have each surpassed 20 million streams on Spotify, with "Arena" reaching more than 28 million plays. He holds double-platinum certification and has received eight nominations at the Danish DJ Awards, including a win for Urban DJ of the Year.
In addition to his production career, Mazur operates Elixir, a sample-pack label on the platform Splice, through which he has released more than twenty sample packs.
