Natural Born Hippies is a Danish rock band formed in 1997 in Randers. The band consists of Dan Hougesen (vocals), Bo Christensen (bass), Tom Lindby (drums), and Sune Thorbjørnsen (guitar).

The group’s breakthrough came in 1999 with a cover of “Lola (If You Ever…),” originally written by Ray Davies and released by The Kinks in 1970. The single became a notable hit, reaching No. 10 on the Danish Singles Chart and charting internationally, including a No. 25 position in Italy.

Natural Born Hippies have since released three studio albums. They are also known for their song “Best Looking Guy in Town,” which was featured on the soundtrack of Cars: The Video Game.

In 2018, the band released the single “Mandela Under the Sun” as a tribute to Nelson Mandela on what would have been his 100th birthday. The song was officially approved by Mandela’s family and the Nelson Mandela Foundation as the official tribute in his honor.
