Nomotion were formed in early 2014 in Udine. Partially relocated to the United Kingdom, the band has developed over the years a sound that can be labeled as "southern gothic rock." Among their influences are Roky Erickson, Paul Roland, My Midnight Creeps, Rowland S. Howard, Gun Club, and Sisters of Mercy.
