Malou is a Hamburg-based singer-songwriter known for her collaborations within the electronic music scene. Born in the late 1990s with Brazilian or Hawaiian heritage, she taught herself guitar and began writing songs before signing with Warner Music in 2020. She works primarily with producer Charlie McClean and has performed at festivals including Elements Festival in 2017. Her vocal style encompasses both ethereal high registers and deeper tones, adapting to various electronic subgenres including melodic house, techno, and progressive house.
Her notable collaborations include "Breathing" and "Lost In Mind" with Ben Bohmer, "Vertigo" with Autograf and BURKO, and "Safe Place" with Nightcall. In 2023, she released "Alone" with Jan Blomqvist and singles "Allein Allein" and "Lose That". In April 2025, she collaborated with andhim and AMÉMÉ on "Feel The Love" for Insomniac Records and performed the track at Coachella 2025. She also featured on "Letting Go" from Above & Beyond's album Bigger Than All Of Us (2025). Beyond performing, she writes music for film and advertising.
