Queen Naija Bulls, known as Queen Naija, born October 17, 1995, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and influencer. Of African-American descent, she grew up in Detroit in a musical environment, influenced by gospel and artists like Mary J. Blige, TLC, and Brandy, shaping her emotional and melodic style. As a teenager, she sang in churches and competed in local contests, developing her powerful voice.

Her fame began in 2014 when she auditioned for American Idol (season 8), reaching the top 100. She skyrocketed in 2017 on YouTube with her ex-husband Clarence White through their vlog channel Royal Family, drawing millions of subscribers with their family-oriented and humorous content. After their 2018 split, marked by public accusations of infidelity, she focused on music. Her single "Medicine" (2017), inspired by the breakup, went viral, hitting the top 45 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 2018, she signed with Capitol Records and released her self-titled EP Queen Naija, featuring platinum-certified hits "Karma" and "Butterflies". Her debut album, Missunderstood (2020), reached number 9 on the Billboard 200, with collaborations including Jacquees, Lil Durk, and Kiana Ledé. In 2023, she released the EP After the Butterflies, exploring themes of love, resilience, and personal growth.

Active on YouTube and Instagram, where she shares her life and music, Queen Naija remains a prominent figure in contemporary R&B, celebrated for her emotive voice and authenticity.
