Charlie Skien (Andreas Høvset), known from projects like Verdensrommet and Softcore untd, is the man from Skien with the distinctive baritone, crafting hopeful songs about the painful. In May of 2024 he released an album called Det gjør ikke vondt.

The artist has undergone a musical transformation in recent years, shifting from dark R'n'B to a more rock-oriented expression, yet the catchy melodies remain at the forefront. This shift is partly due to the fact that he has become sober, works as a jack-of-all-trades in Matias Tellez's new studio, and, not least, has had a desire to play with a larger band. Thus, it has been natural to make room for a more organic expression.
