Lambrini Girls are a punk duo from Brighton consisting of vocalist and guitarist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez. The band played their first show in 2019 and have quickly grown from the local underground scene to become one of the UK’s most talked-about new punk acts, with their debut album Who Let the Dogs Out landing in the top 20 on the UK Albums Chart in 2025.
Their music is a molotov cocktail of riot grrrl, noise punk and queerpunk — raw, political and uncompromising. The lyrics tackle everything from sexism and lad culture to transphobia and abuse of power in the music industry, with a humour and audacity that makes them impossible to ignore. Among their fans is none other than Iggy Pop, who has called them his favourite new band.
Live, Lambrini Girls are equal parts confrontation and celebration. They create spaces where people who are usually sidelined in rock — queer people, women, non-binary people — take centre stage. Expect sweat, chaos, and the feeling that punk still means something.
