Artist Biography Available in: The Savage Resurrection were a very short lived psychedelic garage rock band that were from the San Francisco Bay area. The group only recorded one album while they existed, for Mercury Records in 1967 and the LP was released in 1968. They disbanded later that year. They were often noted for being one of the youngest working bands in the bay area psychedelic rock scene before they completely disappeared into obscurity. Their lead guitarist, Randy Hammon, was only 16 at the time, and is the cousin of Blue Cheer drummer Paul Whaley.
