Dominique Fils-Aimé, (born July 10, 1984 in Montreal), is a singer-songwriter and performer.
She grew up in a musical environment, between his sister, a pianist of classical training, and his parents, lovers of African-American music like Soul, or jazz.
In 2011, she made her stage debut by participating in jam sessions as a singer in the group Tuff Love Groovy Therapy.
In 2015, she released her first EP, The RED EP independently. Then follow several collaborations with various artists such as the tech-house producer Ohm Hourani or the quintet Key Of Groove of which she was a member.
In 2016, she signed with Ensoul Records. Her second album Nameless was released on February 2, 2018. This album was inspired by the text The Hope and the Dream of Slave by Maya Angelou and more particularly by her poem Still I Rise. "Nameless is human essence beyond all labels, all identities" writes Alain Brunet in La Presse.
On February 22, 2019, Dominique Fils-Aimé released Stay Tuned !, the second album, after Nameless, from a trilogy.
