Artist Biography Available in: "Jenni Lyn Gardner", best known as the mandolinist for Boston bluegrass queens Della Mae.
Jenni hails from Conway, South Carolina, where at the age of 5 she started playing guitar. She got her love for bluegrass music from her father who plays the banjo and guitar. She first picked with Bill Monroe when she was 9 years old, backstage at a bluegrass festival in North Carolina. She has followed in the footsteps of her musical heroes and has performed on the stages of the Ryman Auditorium, The Grand Ole Opry, and The World Famous Station Inn. Jenni Lyn recorded on the IBMA Award winning “Proud to Be A Daughter of Bluegrass” project and the picture of her playing music with Bill Monroe is currently on display at the International Bluegrass Music Museum.
