Reverend Bizarre war eine Doom Metal Band aus Lohja, Finnland. Sie spielten langsamen und schweren traditionellen Doom mit dramatischem Gesang und traten in die Fußstapfen von Bands wie Saint Vitus, Pentagram und Black Sabbath. 1997-98 zog die Band nach Turku. Alle Bandmitglieder haben in Lohja gelebt und Albert lebt derzeit dort.
Sie huldigen ihrer Heimatstadt, indem sie den Text "Lohja Power" in den Backcovers ihrer Veröffentlichungen verwenden.

Die Band hatte insgesamt fünf Alben geplant, "Songs from the Funereal World" als drittes, "Heavier Than Life" als viertes und "How It Was Meant to Be" als fünftes und letztes Album.
Jedoch gab die Band diesen Plan auf und veröffentlichte nur drei Alben, bevor sie sich trennte: - In The Rectory Of The Bizarre Reveren (2002, Spikefarm) - II: Crush the Insects (2005, Spikefarm) - III: So Long Suckers (2007, Spikefarm)
