The band was founded in 1993 and since that time it has produced seven albums. The involvement with old myths, legends and fairy tales is quite typical, the very own Style of Hekate, and reveals the roots and cultural background of the band. Besides, archaically seeming rhythms, trance-like and ritual elements underline the spiritual character of the music and the intention to take up the concealed wishes, longings and dreams of the listeners
