The Alexandrov Ensemble is a Russian military ensemble of singers, musicians and dancers.
The first training Alexandrov Ensemble had 12 soldiers artists and performed for the first time in 1928 under the direction of Aleksandr Aleksandrov, a music professor at the Moscow Conservatory.
In 1929, the Ensemble toured in remote areas of the USSR to support the morale of the troops assigned to the construction of the railway network in the Far East.
In 1933, there were 300 members divided into three units: a male choir, an orchestra and a group of dancers.
