Dirk Scheele is a Dutch guitarist, singer, songwriter and actor that makes music for children from 2 to 8 years. His lyrics are about things and activities that engage children, such as the playground, holidays, children's and dressing up, but his music sounds very mature. Influences of rock, folk rock, blues, rap, reggae and Latin music are clearly audible. The Music Band uses all ordinary musical instruments, but also pans, buckets and little horn. The songs are melodic, alternative, danceable and can be easily sung.
