Gerry Mulligan (Nueva York, 6 de abril de 1927 - Darien, 20 de enero de 1996) fue un músico estadounidense de jazz, saxofonista barítono y arreglista.

Se trata de una de las figuras legendarias del saxo jazzístico, y de uno de los principales representantes del cool.

De gran flexibilidad estilística, Mulligan trajo un sonido bastante revolucionario a un instrumento hasta su llegada bastante pedestre, tocando con la velocidad y la destreza de un saxo alto. Fue también pianista y compositor: son suyos temas como "Walkin' Shoes", "Line for Lyons", "Bark for Barksdale", "Nights at the Turntable", "Utter Chaos", "Soft Shoe", "Bernie's Tune", "Blueport", "Song for Strayhorn", "Song for an Unfinished Woman" y "I Never Was a Young Man".
