The Nomads es una banda sueca de garage punk y Rock and Roll fundada en 1981 por Hans Östlund, Nick Vahlberg, Joakim Tärnström y Ed Johnson. Hoy, Östlund y Vahlberg son los únicos miembros que quedan de la formación original.
No deben confundirse con el grupo estadounidense "The Nomads" (también conocido como Los Nomadas) formado en la escuela secundaria Whittier de California en 1953 por Bill Aken (Zane Ashton) y Chico Vasquez. Este grupo permaneció unido durante más de 30 años, grabando para varios sellos discográficos y respaldando a artistas latinos hasta la muerte de Chico en 1995.
La banda toca música influenciada por MC5, The Stooges, Roky Erikson, The Cramps, The Ramones, New York Dolls y otras bandas de garage rock y punk. The Nomads ha sido una banda influyente en las escenas de garage rock y punk escandinavo, inspirando a bandas como The Hives, Hellacopters, Gluecifer y muchas otras.
