Lionel Brockman Richie jr. (født 20. juni 1949 i Tuskegee, Alabama, USA) er en amerikansk R&B sanger, låtskriver, komponist, produsent og skuespiller.

Hans berømmelse startet da han var frontfigur i musikkgruppa The Commodores, et band som var meget populært i USA i 70-årene. De hadde flere hits som for eksempel «Easy», «Three Times A Lady», og «Brick House». Richie forlot The Commodores i 1981 til fordel for en solokarriere og ble med det en av de mest suksessrike artistene på 1980-tallet, med fem nummer 1 hits og 13 topp-10-hits på rad i USA.

For sangen «Say You, Say Me» fra filmen Hvite netter vant Richie Oscar for beste sang i 1985.

Rundt 1984 adopterte han sin datter Nicole Richie, kjent fra blant annet Reality-TV-serien The Simple Life.

Han skrev også fredssangen «We Are the World» sammen med Michael Jackson. Sangen ble spilt inn og utgitt i 1985.
