Marking the band's return after a seven-year gap since 2019's Starbourne Traveler, the album features a classic, riff-driven sound heavily inspired by 1980s metal icons like Judas Priest and Accept.
The album's title and its opening track, "Whirlwind Of Doom", draw inspiration from Thor, the Norse god of thunder.
