Human on the Outside is the third solo studio album by English musician Alan Davey, released in August 2007. Davey is best known as the long-time, definitive bass player for the legendary space rock band Hawkwind. The record was written and self-released shortly after he departed from the group for the final time.
Musically, the album blends classic, heavy driving space rock—heavily reminiscent of his work with Hawkwind—with contemporary electronic twists, ambient soundscapes, and world music elements.
