"Sternensegler" is the 12th studio album by the German medieval folk rock band Schandmaul, released on 11 September 2026 via Napalm Records. It is also the name of the album's highly acclaimed title track and leading single, which premiered earlier in June 2026
This release marks a historic milestone and a major turning point for the band, as it is their very first album featuring Marco Klingel (alias Till Herence) as the lead vocalist. He stepped in to take over microphone duties after the founding frontman, Thomas Lindner, tragically lost his singing voice due to complications from radiation therapy following a 2023 cancer diagnosis. However, Lindner remains an integral part of the crew, shifting his role to acoustic guitar and keyboards
