Realms Of The UndrEarth, a JRPG videogame experience that was cut short right before release. Rotnuea, a planet not far from our solar system, became the new frontier for humans amid the Second Space-age Revival. The planet seems dead and devoid of life on the surface, but houses eons of biodiversity under its crust. Its core emitted a warmth similar to the suns rays at a much lower heat, allowing for life to take hold.
Three centuries ago, humans finally landed on the living planet. Colonization and study began at a breakneck pace. All seemed well until human after human began to get sick. Thousands began to die, along with beasts and Rotnueans alike, A new virus had sprung up that affected all life dwelling on the planet.
The source was identified to be emitting from The First Dawn, a massive meteorite that buried itself into the crust of the planet a century ago. The meteorite landed so deep in an extremely remote sector that most never bothered with it, but some humans believed it would be the source of new, boundless energy. This caused a split between factions. Led by the Aneto Family, a prestigious line of scientists, 1/4th of Rotnuean settlers would travel to The First Dawn. Now, the colony had been radio silent for 50 years. Since then, many brave explores have failed to return. Whole parties and expeditions have been wiped out, with only a few surviving. All survivors claimed of a massive beast they called The Safeguard that roamed the edges of the meteorite, protecting it from any harm.
With extinction on the horizon, chaos had broken out. What would have been a new golden age has turned into one of dread and sorrow. However, not all hope is lost. 15 years ago, a family settled on the edge of the frontier that many suspect were deserters from the First Dawn Colony. Now, their young boy Riono, is soon to discover a long kept family secret. One that can be the key to eliminating the Virus of The First Dawn.
The virus had been etched into his DNA before birth, the result of lawless experiments at the First Dawn Colony during those years of silence. Effectively immune to the virus, with super human capabilities, Riono possesses the last hope of Rotnuea.
