Autumn is a state of mind. Afternoon Walk's Autumn Archive is proof of that. It's like sweater weather for your ears; taking you on a journey through the death of seasons and giving you the optimism that the color of the dying leaves brings. Even in the midst of difficulty, we can embrace the beauty of it all.
Here are ten tracks to usher in your new era of enlightenment.
From Afternoon Walk:
“ 2022 was my roughest year. Anxiety, paranoia, and depression forced me to pause my music and studies. For the most part, it felt lonely and miserable, but that darkness eventually helped me realize what truly matters the most - things that I couldn't give up on. Things got better once I gave music another chance, and since then, I've released music I'm proud of, earned my Sound Engineering degree, met amazing artists and communities to work with and learn from, and made up with the girl I love. A little while ago, she taught me that autumn is seen as a time for reflection and renewal - something I wasn't familiar with despite my fascination with its beauty. It stuck with me ; I could relate to it, and now it feels closer to home... closer to home after dark.”
