"Washington State Charm" is the fourth full-length studio album by the Austrian brutal death metal band Monument of Misanthropy, released on 26 June 2026 via Listenable Records.
The album is a true-crime concept record that chronicles the life, upbringing, crimes, and execution of American serial killer Ted Bundy. The title itself is an ironic reference to Bundy's superficial charisma and how he used his perceived "charm" to manipulate and capture his victims, particularly across the Pacific Northwest
The album sequentially traces Bundy's timeline, starting from his childhood, moving through his Pacific Northwest killing spree, his subsequent murders in Colorado and Florida, and concluding with his execution.
Musically, the band blends traditional brutal death metal and technical death metal with distinct deathcore influences, creating a dark, slamming, and atmospheric sonic experience.
