Snowdrop is the 13th studio album by the Japanese post-rock band MONO, released on 12 June 2026 via Temporary Residence Ltd.. The eight-track album represents a deeply poignant turning point for the band, heavily shaped by the sudden passing of their longtime friend and legendary producer, Steve Albini. Recording took place at Albini's iconic Electrical Audio studios in Chicago with producer Brad Wood stepping in to guide the sessions.
Rather than settling into bleak despair, the instrumental record transforms grief into universal messages of hope and eternal gratitude, with every track intentionally named after a flower to reflect its traditional "flower language".
