"Spread Your Wings" is the seventh full-length studio album by the long-running Italian power metal band Drakkar, released on 27 September 2024 through Punishment 18 Records.
The album marks a highly creative milestone for the band, functioning as a sci-fi conceptual record. It is directly inspired by Helliger Quest, a narrative saga written by Italian author Diego Delpiano. The story was originally conceived years prior by Delpiano alongside Drakkar's primary guitarist and songwriter, Dario Beretta. The plot follows a futuristic metal band from an 1980s-stylized Earth colony in space that gets swept up in a massive interstellar power struggle. Musically, the album mirrors this narrative by blending Drakkar's traditional epic power metal with distinct 1980s heavy metal
