Marking a major milestone for the group, it is their first album following the departure of longtime keyboardist Günter Werno, introducing Alessandro Del Vecchio as his successor. The release balances the band’s hallmark complex arrangement style with a heavy, melody-driven "back to the roots" sonic signature.
