Album DescriptionAvailable in:
Denigration is the eighth studio album by British slamming brutal death metal/deathcore band Ingested, released on 8 May 2026 via Metal Blade Records.
The album is a significant release for the band, marking a "bold new chapter" following considerable lineup changes and internal turmoil. It is the first record without founding vocalist Jason Evans. Initially, Josh Davies was recruited as the new frontman, but he was fired in February 2026 amid sexual misconduct allegations. Consequently, the band re-recorded the vocals for the entire album, with guitarists Sean Hynes and Andrew Virrueta taking over primary vocal duties.
User Album Review
Denigration has been described by reviewers at Boolin Tunes as a "return to form," stripping away some of the experimentation from recent albums in favour of straightforward, bludgeoning brutality. The record features themes of identity corrosion, religious disillusion, and self-loathing, particularly in the lead single "Merciless Reflection".
