Album Description
Available in:
"Time does not heal all wounds. Time creates, if anything at all, the opportunity for new tissue to emerge. It is only known in retrospect whether something protective, something extremely sensitive, something almost dead or a memorial to the injury arises. But even then the process is not complete, because scars - like everything that consists of living cells - develop their own life."

This album, "Narben / Scars", is an audio documentation of the improvised soundscapes and music to the audio/visual/dance performance of the same name by Una Shamaa (dance) and Hunter Barr / Oblivion Guest (live music, video) performed at Kunstkeller, Dresden on 22nd December 2019 as two approximately 25 minute sets; the first set featuring tracks 1 to 6, and the second set tracks 7 to 12.

A fully improvised, and deeply intense presentation about vulnerability and about not knowing what we can do about what was made of us.

NOTE: This album is a live recording and is intended for playback on gap-less audio applications in order to retain the live atmosphere and transitions between pieces. Some applications may not provide this feature and may introduce small clicks between tracks. This is not an error in the recording and will hopefully still provide you with an immersive listening experience regardless.
