Album Description
Available in:
A dedication to Revelation 1, which is packed with so much wisdom that I could hardly begin to rejoice properly in this description alone. It's more than just an introduction.

Though there are many angles that this dedication could have taken, I have chosen the concept of how God is able to turn mankind's wrong turns into righteous fulfillment.

Look at how things turned out when they tried to silence John the Apostle by exiling him onto the isle of Patmos; did what he learn there stay there, or did it infiltrate the entire world permanently?

Look at how things turned out when the churches in Asia Minor faced turmoil and tribulation: did the Lamb of God stand in the midst of them, and did He make sure that they could become ensamples unto generations to come?

Look at how the sword that proceeds from His mouth can simultaneously pierce the heart unto salvation and eternal life, just as much as it can render righteous judgment against those whom are at enmity with the Lord.

Look at how John falls dead at His feet upon viewing His countenance, only to receive courage and strength from that very same face as He utters the phrase, "Fear not."

Look at how things turned out for those who thought the cross would put an end to His teachings once and for all, and how sin was defeated forevermore to His permanent dominion.

Look at how He turns out hardships into the lessons we learn that lead us to Him; look at how He turned Joseph's suffering into good for the entirety of Jacob's family. Look at how good He is no matter how bad we are.

"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." - Revelation 1:18
