I cannot speak for the rest of the U.S. and its metropolitan regions, but as far as the Tampa Bay area goes, the northern most reaches to its influence tend to be some of the most well-tended and relaxing CDPs of this several-million plus populated place. There are many parts of Florida that feel homogenized but then other locations that feel like a blend of the old styles I grew up around clashing with new trends that may or may not stand the test of Florida's taste. When exploring some of the places that the early 2020s offers us on this peninsula, I try to put myself into a finite mindset. Whatever I come across may not be there next year, decade, century... or maybe it will be.
A short-playing dedication to remind me of how everything felt in Hernando County, sister boundary to the north of my own home in Pasco County, right before the pandemic hit.
