"I am definitely a fan of fantasy video games like Legend of Zelda and Dark Souls! "long forgotten quest..." was created from the remains of a nearly decade old, unreleased, "dungeon-synth-like'' project of mine. The original concept of that project was to tell the story of an epic quest, however, I was never satisfied with the state of the project and I never formally released it. When I decided to revive the project via using an old render as the sample for a Slushwave style album, I wanted the album concept to maintain a fragment of the original concept, but also play on the fact that the source of this album had sat, long forgotten, for years before it's debut. I also tried to use the track titles to gently infer a general story, and end the album on a note of melancholy, what has befallen our hero? Why was this quest forgotten?"
