"The Summer Is Magic" is a song by Italian Eurodance group Playahitty. It was released in July 1994 as their debut single. The song was a big success in the summer and autumn of that year in several countries of Continental Europe, and also in Italy, where the track reached the number two position on the Top 40 singles chart.

Italian singer Giovanna Bersola, better known by her stage name 'Jenny B', provided the lead vocals for the song, as well as for the 1993 hit "The Rhythm of the Night", of the Eurodance Corona music group. For this reason it's still believed that "The Summer is Magic" was another hit song by "Corona".

Particularly fit to the illuminated dance floors, it had great success, reaching the top-40 in Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Mexico, Italy, Netherlands, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Sweden and Switzerland. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "The Summer Is Magic" reached number 36.
