"Silver" ist das zwölfte Studioalbum der Schweizer Hard Rock Band Gotthard. Es wurde am 13. Januar 2017 durch G Records veröffentlicht. Das Album war beabsichtigt, das 25-jährige Jubiläum der Band zu feiern und der Name ist ein Hinweis auf Silver Wedding.

Even after 25 years, these guys aren’t one bit detached. On 13, respectively 15 tracks, we witness musicians, who’ve brought plenty of ideas to the table, displaying their unabated joy of making music in every single song. From the well-greased Hammond engine of the opener “SILVER RIVER” to sequencers and lush backings in “BEAUTIFUL”, Rammstein staccato in “EVERYTHING INSIDE”, and the monumentally arranged “ONLY LOVE IS REAL” as well as the track “MY OH MY” in classic GOTTHARD tradition, the band delivers an album that convinces, surprises, and brims with great love for detail. After the terrific first single “STAY WITH ME” has warmed us up properly, here comes the full load and perfect start into the rock ‘n’ roll year 2017.
