"The Passing of the Night" is the third full length studio album from Irish musical duo The Lost Brothers, released 24 Sept. 2012 on Brendan Benson's Readymade Records in the US and on Lojinx Records in the UK and Ireland.
On The Passing of the Night (Their US debut) they certainly have the assistance of some talented people that include Brendon Benson as producer and various members of the Old Crow medicine show and the Cardinals. All of the songs on this album with the exception of one are written by the duo and thematically all contain far more darkness than light, with even the slightly upbeat songs seeming to have a dark atmosphere.
