Crush is a music album by pop singer Venke Knutson, released in 2007. The album was Knutson's third album and the first after she ended her collaboration with artist manager Jan Fredrik Karlsen. She herself co-wrote the lyrics and music for several of the songs for the album, which was released on Polydor (Universal Music). Ahead of the album's launch, she released the single "Holiday" in May and "Walk the Walk" in October. After several delays, the album was released on December 27, 2007. It was described as "a pop album inspired by uplifting late 80s music, such as Roxette and A-ha, as well as The Cardigans and the most pop sides of Alicia Keys". The reception was very divided – among some critics it bordered on slaughter, while others were more positive. The album spent 7 weeks on the VG-lista and ended with 14th place as the best position. In week 3 of 2008, Knutson was on the VG-lista for the first time with two songs at the same time; "Holiday" and "Walk the Walk", both singles from the album Crush. The song "Holiday" was nominated for the Spellemannsprisen 2007 in the category Hit of the Year.
