"Trying to Tell the Truth" is the third full length album from British folk singer/songwriter, Beans On Toast, released 1st December 2011 on the Xtra Mile Recordings label.
The album was produced by friend Frank Turner and features poet Kate Tempest on backing vocals. Painting pictures of everyday things and events with sharp observations and witty one-liners, the album offers words of wisdom that are delivered with a mischievous smile.
