"Conceived in Fire" is the sixth full length studio album by the Christian metal band Living Sacrifice, released September 12, 2002 on the Solid State Records label. It would be the final album for Matt Putman, and the last album recorded before the band's five year retirement. The album artwork was done by renowned artist Travis Smith, who has done artwork for Opeth, Katatonia, Strapping Young Lad and Soul Embraced to name a few. The albums name comes from Hebrews 12:29, "For our God is a consuming fire."
